Cranach and Renaissance Art under the Hohenzollern

This is a unique exhibition exploring the art and culture of the Renaissance in Berlin. The exhibition focuses on Cranach and the art of the Renaissance under the Hohenzollern. Open daily except Tuesday from 10:00 to 17:00 (closed on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve). Late opening on Thursday until 20:00. Standard admission is €8 or €6 concessions. At Charlottenburg Palace, New Wing, Spandauer Damm.

Sing Along
Every Mon
Weekly one hour sing along sessions every Monday for children accompanied by one or more musicians. The event is offered in English and German and is for children age 0 to 7 years. Sessions start at 16:30. Admission is €4 for 1 adult and 1 child. Additional children under 2 are free and additional children over 2 are €4. A Storytime Club Card is available for frequent visitors: after nine visits the tenth visit is free. At Storytime Books, Schmargendorfer Straße 36/37.

Beginner Painting & Art appreciation Classes

Classes for those who want to learn how to paint and find your own style while learning about their art, artists, artistic movements and styles. National Gallery Prize for Young Art 2009

Prize money of €50,000 is at stake for the winner of this prestigious award funded by the Verein der Freunde der Nationalgalerie and now in its 5th year. This is the second of two exhibitions focusing on Cranach (the other is at Charlottenburg Palace).
