A Summer Wedding

Summer in the northern hemisphere is traditionally wedding season. It's the time of year when parks, gardens, beaches and lakesides are confetti and petal strewn, and each weekend convoys of ribbon-decorated cars snake their way through the towns and villages. But if a summer wedding is what you want, the planning should begin sooner rather than later!

To love, honour and cherish

AngloINFO can help you understand all the steps you need to take to plan a legally recognised marriage in Germany. It's not that straightforward - one of you needs to be living here. AngloINFO's Getting Married in Germany INFOrmation Page covers the essentials you need to know about making an application to marry, the paperwork you will need to present and where you will need to go.

For same-sex couples, the INFOrmation Page on Same Sex Marriage in Germany, details the requirements for making the application and planning the ceremony.

And once the legal formalities are in order it's time to plan the celebration! You can find all the services you need - churches, photographers, caterers and more - in The AngloFILE database of English-speaking businesses:

What else?

Keeping up with all the new stuff on AngloINFO is easy - just click here! We've been adding new entries to the AngloFILE just about every day, and there are now over 1,900 listings there! If you want your business added, just follow this link.
