Tales by Candlelight
Long dark nights, warm firesides and cosy quilts – it's the perfect time of year to curl up with a good book! Many foreigners living in Berlin miss being able to pop in to their local library or browse the shelves of a corner bookshop to find a good read in English.
Turning the pages
The
AngloINFO Bookshop provides access to a selection of
locally-relevant titles from Amazon.co.uk's extensive catalogue, in many
categories including art, food, home and garden and regionally-relevant
residents' and travel guides.
If you prefer to shop for books by browsing the pages and reading the
blurb on the back cover, then have a look in the Books

near you - there may be more than you thought.
Something many find surprising is how many local libraries and bookshops
have a

area.
